The
name of the Warrior Style Kung Fu School where I learn and teach my children is “Fire Dragon” (火龙); I gave it this name because to me the Chinese Dragon represents the highest values and gifts of mankind; among them
are: courage, strength, character, spirit, humility, intelligence, kindness, piety, loyalty, sincerity, love of the family
and our ancestors or elders, etc. In it, I have been teaching and training my Daughter, Joymil Patricia (born on 26-January-1996)
and my Son José Augusto (born on 17-March-1999) since they became three (3) years old. The plan has been and will be the same,
without amendments: to honor my Sifu and learn / teach our Kung Fu to the next generations made of children and grandchildren
in order to preserve our legacy and keep our family treasure. Nevertheless, a few pupils have also benefited from the practice
of this martial art along these years, in the cities where I have lived so far, such as for example: Barcelona, Maturin, Carupano, and Caracas. In all of them I have left dearest disciples who have been taught our
Kung Fu Style the way I learned it from my Sifu, at no charge at all.
At the Fire Dragon, Warrior Style Kung Fu School, we do not wear any colorful belts, or sashes,
or any other means to indicate our expertise in this martial art. Our knowledge and behavior are the only things that make
us different because each student is unique, as well as each human being living in this planet, and each cell forming our
body. Therefore, we cannot state that one practitioner of kung fu wearing a, for example, yellow belt / sash or a red one,
or green or blue one, equals or wins another practitioner wearing another yellow belt / sash or a red one, or green or blue
one. Similarly, we cannot establish the value of one life by saying this living being equals or wins or is lesser than that
living being. We cannot say this martial art is better or worse than that martial art. By acknowledging that we all are unique
and learning and respecting those differences, we are going forward in the path that leads us to the coupling of ONE with
ALL. Accordingly, so much is learned by the disciple as well as by the instructor teaching him an art.
